What is the Lemmon-Aid Memorial Scholarship?

The Lemmon-Aid Memorial Scholarship was established in honor of Shannon Lemmon, a Junior League of the Golden Isles member and beloved high school history teacher. Dedicated to empowering youth, she inspired change through her teaching and work with JLGI. The scholarship celebrates high school seniors from the Golden Isles who have positively impacted their community through volunteering. It supports students pursuing various paths, such as trade schools, military service, technical programs, or four-year colleges, without focusing on academic or athletic performance.
