The Junior League of the Golden Isles is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Junior League of the Golden Isles respects, values and celebrates the unique attributes, characteristics and perspectives that make each person who they are. We welcome all women who value our Mission and aim to create and retain a membership representing all socio-demographic aspects of our community.
Membership embodies both privilege and responsibility. Our league's future hinges on the dedication of its members to fulfill our mission. Each JLGI member should recognize the annual time and financial commitments involved.
Complete One Committee Placement Per Year
(Meets Appx Once Per Month)
Attend 6 of 8 Monthly General Membership Meetings
August and April Required **
Participate in Fundraising Projects Through Volunteering Your Time, Donations, or a Combination of the Two
$250 In-Kind or Monetary Donations
Gaining Sponsorship for Event
Event Ticket Purchases
Participate in Community Projects (Done In A Day) for a Minimum of 2 Out Of 4 Projects per League year
Pay Annual Dues ($150) No Later Than September 30th
