JLGI Membership Application
The Junior League of the Golden Isles is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Junior League of the Golden Isles respects, values and celebrates the unique attributes, characteristics and perspectives that make each person who they are. We welcome all women who value our Mission and aim to create and retain a membership representing all socio-demographic aspects of our community.
Membership is both a privilege and a responsibility. The future of the league depends upon its members to carry out the mission. Each JLGI member should be aware of the time and financial commitment that is required annually.
Complete on committee placement per year (meets appx once per month)
Attend a minimum of 3 General Membership Meetings; August (required), October, January, February and April.
Participate in fundraising projects through volunteering your time, donations or a combination of the two.
$250 in-kind or monetary donations
Event ticket purchases (2 Dueling Pianos | 4 Character Breakfast)
Complete two hands-on community event activities.
Pay annual dues ($150) no later than September 30th.
